Invasion Cultural & Cultural Invasion
COMING SOON: “Invasion Cultural” and “Cultural Invasion” are two complementary projects that reflect the cultural influence of the United States in Puerto Rico. In 1898, Spain “lost” the island to an american invasion through the city of Guánica, during the Spanish-American War. Ever since, american influence in politics, language, arts and music have been flowing into puertorican daily affairs. As such, I grew up listening to a wide variety of american and latin music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, that drive my creative collective today. “Marea” is an early release of the project’s Spanish side. The Road Less Traveled
Identity crisis!! I like writing songs in English AND Spanish. Early in the writing process, I get a feel from the sounds that help me choose between Latin Rock or English Classic Rock styles, and of course, it is at that point that I decided to go for Spanish or English lyrics. This album is a collection of my English creations. I’ll be releasing a Spanish album in Fall ’23. In the Road Less Traveled, you will also hear different styles, because why stick to just one? I just produce what feels right to me, and hopefully that’s OK with you. One of those perks of been an “indie artist”.

“Destinos”… Honoring my roots and heritage, I was inspired to work an entire album in Spanish, incorporating elements from different styles of music – from classic rock, to pop, to who knows what… The album cover shows the two destination extremes that hold memorable life experiences – my home Puerto Rico, and the high deserts of California.
