Welcome to this corner of the music world! I’m really glad you are here.
I’ve been a long time musician, composer, and performer. I’ve also have a passion for the delicate art of mixing and mastering which adds a whole new dimension to my music experience. So not only you get to (hopefully) enjoy my music, but you also get to experience my growth as a music producer (GUAYO Productions).
I’ve been involved in music for as long as I can remember. Learned the piano and guitar early on and have ALWAYS been composing and performing in some way shape or form. Check out the big-hair Puerto Rican band “Rockshott” circa 1988! (yeah, I’m the sexy dude in spandex all the way left…)
Along the way, I pushed the music profession aside to focus on higher life priorities and of course, with zero regrets. I’m very fortunate to count with the unconditional love of my amazing family and enjoy the perks of a very rewarding professional career.
After many years away from the “business” and with the tools available today, the time was right to get back on it! In a very humble way, I hope to leave a small footprint in the giant world of music and culture the best way I know how to.
My return to music production is captured in the “BACK IN THE SADDLE” album. This project consisted of seven songs that I considered a “warm up” for what’s lies ahead. The second album: “UNLEASHED”, was released early this year and I hope it rocks your world. The songs have been featured in more than 50 SPOTIFY playlists and grew a following of over 400 fans.
As you listen to the songs, you may notice how my style matures. You’ll find hints of “old school” sounds in brand new songs – I believe this works very well! I hope you enjoy listening to these tunes as much as I’ve enjoyed producing them. Cheers!
